Keynote speaker- Fr Bob Lombardo CFR

It is with absolute delight that we confirm Fr Bob Lombardo, CFR as main speaker for the Youth 2000 Summer Festival! Fr Bob is no stranger to Youth 2000 and was our main speaker back in 2008 in Clonmacnois. Fr Bob is a founding member of his community, the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. He is a highly sought after speaker and retreat leader. He ministers in the Humboldt Park area on Chicago’s West Side, in a mission called The Mission of Our Lady of the Angels. This is one of the poorest neighborhoods in the City of Chicago. The purpose of the mission is to assist the poor and evangelise through an apostolate of retreats and preaching. Fr Bob has a great way of connecting with young people and communicating the life giving message of the Gospel. He is a dynamic speaker, with immense wisdom and conviction. We are delighted that he can join us this year!
