This year’s Youth 2000 Christmas Retreat will take place on
December 6th-8th 2024 at Dominican College, Newbridge, Co Kildare!
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
As always, the Christmas retreat promises to be a great weekend and a wonderful way to come together in Advent to help us prepare for Christmas. There will be lots of great activities each day as well as excellent speakers, inspiring talks and fantastic workshops. There will be lots of time for prayer and time to chill out, meet new people and experience the best of what it means to be young and Catholic today!
Stay and eat on site as part of the retreat, just bring a sleeping bag and some warm clothes as well as the usual necessities for an overnight, and everything else will be provided. Please register in advance to help us prepare for your arrival – it only takes a few minutes and even less if you have been with us before!
Registration opens at 19:30 on Friday the 6th of December. An original photo ID will be required to check-in.
SCHEDULE
For more information about our retreats and what the weekend will be like please visit our FAQ page, or email office@youth2000.ie.
AGE
Youth 2000 retreats are for anyone aged 16-35, but everyone is welcome to join us for the Closing Mass on Sunday! If you are U.18, please be sure to bring your signed booking form and an original photo ID with you to check in on your arrival (please see the ‘reminders’ sections at the end for further details).
COST
As always, this retreat is DONATION ONLY! It is really important to us that it is possible for anyone to be able to attend who wants to, regardless of financial circumstance.
The suggested donation is €40, but we ask attendees to only give what they can afford. If you are in a position to donate to cover the cost for those who cannot it will make a huge difference for the young people who could not otherwise attend.
The Christmas Retreat costs Youth 2000 €20,000 to run, and we are committed to maintaining our ‘donation only’ model. It is really important to us that it remains possible for any young person to be able to attend who wants to, regardless of financial circumstance. Your support makes this possible!
