The Youth 2000 Summer Festival 2024 will take place
August 7th-10th at Dominican College, Newbridge, Co Kildare
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
As always, the Summer Festival promises to be a great weekend. There will be lots of great activities each day as well as excellent speakers, inspiring talks and fantastic workshops. There will be lots of time for prayer and time to chill out, meet new people and experience the best of what it means to be young and Catholic today!
SCHEDULE
The full schedule will be available very soon – a sample summer festival schedule is available in our FAQs.
AGE
Youth 2000 retreats are for anyone aged 16-35, but everyone is welcome to join us for the Closing Mass on Sunday!
If you are under 18 years of age, you MUST also remember to bring your signed booking consent form. Furthermore registration for U.18s will close strictly at 11am on Tuesday morning, 5th August to allow us enough time to verify attendance and parental permission etc.
Registration remains open for O.18s throughout the weekend. Please note that on-site accommodation is not available for anyone outside of the age group 16-35.
Anyone u.16 must be accompanied by an adult to attend – even if they are attending day time only – and we ask that you notify us in advance by emailing office@youth2000.ie.
COST
As always, this retreat is DONATION ONLY! It is really important to us that it is possible for anyone to be able to attend who wants to, regardless of financial circumstance.
The suggested donation is €80, but we ask attendees to only give what they can afford. If you are in a position to donate to cover the cost for those who cannot it will make a huge difference for the young people who could not otherwise attend.
You have an option to donate on the weekend, but it helps us so much if you are in a position to make a donation ahead of time! There is a simple link to make a donation when registering, and several other options for giving at the link below.
The Summer Festival each year costs €80,000 to run, and we are committed to maintaining our ‘donation only’ model. It is really important to us that it remains possible for any young person to be able to attend who wants to, regardless of financial circumstance. Your support makes this possible!
