The Youth 2000 Summer Festival 2018 will be taking place in Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary between 16th-19th August 2018.

- Meals WILL be provided for.
- Air mattresses WILL be provided for, BUT everyone MUST bring their own pillow and sleeping bag/quilt.
FREE BUSES – The Free Bus schedule will become available in due course.
Main Speaker – Fr. Joe Freedy
Youth 2000 are very excited to welcome Fr. Joe Freedy from the Diocese of Pittsburgh, USA as the main speaker for the Youth 2000 Summer Festival 2018. Fr. Joe is a regular speaker at the Steubenville Youth Conferences.
Father Joseph Freedy was born the youngest of five children in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Earning a football scholarship to the State University of New York at Buffalo, Father Joseph was the starting quarterback for three years before graduating with a degree in communications. After college, he entered Saint Paul Seminary and earned a master’s degree in philosophy from Duquesne University. He attended the North American College in Rome for theological studies. Father Freedy earned a bachelor’s degree in sacred theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University and a licentiate in sacred theology from the John Paul II Institute. In 2008, he was ordained a priest. He is the Parochial Vicar for Holy Child and St. Barbara Parishes in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, USA.
NOTE: Please bring suitable clothing for the August weather including: Warm coat, hoodies, hats, gloves, scarves, thick socks, warm pj’s, hot water bottle, etc
Remember that it is essential that you bring your own pillow, sleeping bag/quilt. Air mattresses will be provided.
